Salutations! The weeks are flying by until my new adventure begins. My precious daughter has arrived back into Australia for a few special weeks until we both leave again for opposite sides of the world. Strangely enough she has managed to secure a flight on the same day within 5 minutes of mine so we are able to leave together! She and her partner are moving to Singapore whilst I am packing for my upcoming Bahamas crewing position. Visas have been applied for, paperwork has been dealt with and endless calls have been made to put everything in place!
I am humbled and can only say "thank you" with all my heart to my much appreciated friends who have organised good bye lunches and dinners, these occasions are both touching and unexpected. Whilst the unknown lures me, I know I will miss you all so much, the long chats over coffee or the lazy afternoons with a glass of red and wonderful conversation are all an integral part of my life. Most of us know how important our friends are, but is not until you leave everyone that you realise how very much they mean to you.
My next blog will hopefully tell of a smooth flight to Miami, Florida on 15th April! Ciao and hugs until then!
